Hung: New HBO Show Proves Size Matters

After visiting a self-help group who teaches him to find and utilize his own unique “winning tool,” he decides to exploit the one thing that sets him apart from other men—his massive penis—in order to turn his situation around. How does he do this? Basically, he becomes a male prostitute, and offbeat hilarity and heartwarming life lesions quickly ensue.

The series is dark, funny, and clever, and explores the idea that in an economic recession, you can take away a man’s house, job, and wife, but at the end of the day, he still has his big shlong, and that’s something you can’t take away. Also, it shows that sex doesn’t become any less important during a recession—in fact, it can take on new importance, especially if it turns into a way to feed your family.
