Basically what they did was publish an average penis size (”The Thai Standard”) which was listed as between 49 and 56 mm, and then launch a big campaign—that includes giving away free condoms—with a focus on ensuring penis sizes are matched with condoms that fit properly. Like men from elsewhere, Thai men are often put off by the discomfort of condoms, but the new education regarding the comfort of wearing a condom that actually fits has been improving the situation over there.
